Project Summary

Zamfara state has one of the highest rates of out-of-school children in Nigeria. Reasons for this include poverty and a low value for education.

Therefore, UDO Foundation carried out a sensitisation campaign on education to tackle this problem.

We had key stakeholders present; including the District Head, community leaders,  parents, children and  youths.
Participants were enlightened on the value of education and its benefits to society. They committed to supporting UdoFoundation in taking children off the streets in the state.
