UDOF has enrolled 10 out-of-school children in Gifted International School, Gidan-Waya, Kaduna State.
These are children of mostly farmers who have lost their farms and other sources of livelihood to the unending herder-farmers clashes.
The parents struggle each day to cater to the needs of these children. Even though they wanted them to attend school, there was no means.
It was in this situation that UDOF met with these families and offered them hope for the future by providing their children with full scholarships that cover their primary education.
Education promotes peace, tolerance, and unity. If these little ones are enlightened, they may become peace advocates and nation-builders in the future.
