Again, UDOF has enrolled 10 out-of-school children in LEA Primary School, Kurudu, Abuja.
Kurudu is a community on the outskirts of Abuja inhabited by many FCT indigenes who were resettled by the government.
One would think that life should be easy but that is not the case. Poverty is high and the community lacks basic amenities.
Locals are mainly farmers and others do menial jobs. There is reportedly a high rate of school dropout because parents cannot afford school fees.
UDOF came to the rescue for 10 children and offered them full scholarships under her Education4All programme.
The beneficiaries and parents were overjoyed. At last, each child has hope for a better future.
